About Cavaliers Rugby Academy
Our Story
Founded in 2014, Cavaliers Rugby Academy was established with a simple vision: to create meaningful rugby opportunities for young players through development, competition and touring experiences.
The Academy’s first tour saw an Under 12 team participate in the prestigious Armidale School Rugby Carnival (TASRC). Over the following decade, Cavaliers Rugby Academy expanded its programs across Australia and internationally, providing players, coaches and match officials with opportunities to experience rugby in a variety of environments and cultures.
In addition to domestic and international tours, Cavaliers Rugby Academy has consistently delivered development camps and coaching programs, providing young players with the opportunity to learn from some of the game’s most respected coaches, including Mick Byrne.
The Academy has also participated in a number of prestigious tournaments and representative events, including the Australian Schools Championships in 2019. Throughout its history, Cavaliers Rugby Academy has achieved success both on and off the field, with teams consistently performing strongly in competition. Among its most notable achievements is winning the Dubai Under 19 International Boys Tournament, widely regarded as one of the Academy’s greatest accomplishments to date.
Today, Cavaliers Rugby Academy continues to provide pathways and opportunities for players, coaches, match officials and match official developers, creating experiences that develop skills, character, leadership and lifelong connections through rugby.
